As a full time gundog trainer, I raise German Shorthaired Pointers, English Pointers, English Setters and Labrador Retrievers. Countryside Kennels features a 6,000 square foot indoor/outdoor kennel facility with 40 acres of food plots and woods. We also have 3 separate waterfowl training areas.

Countryside Kennels partners with Great Lakes Sport Dog Association to enhance your working relationship with your dog and improve your skills while earning titles and bragging rights. COUNTRYSIDE'S LANDMARK MYSTERY LADY

DOB: 11/26/06

Mystery is a 45# black lab female. She is a very close worker in the upland field and a solid dog in the duck blind. Mystery has one of the finest pedigrees in our kennel including FC AFC Jazztime, GMPR Gumbo of Black Forrest MH, and AFC Chugach Hills Jazz's Rascal. She is force fetched, steady, working doubles, and has a very nice water entry. In the field, Mystery has an excellent nose and shows a great deal of natural point.

Mystery would make a great addition to any family or breeding program. She has had one litter, which included a mix of blacks and chocolates. These pups were very birdy and easily trained. Mystery is working on her GLSD Pointing Lab title as well as her waterfowl title and should finish these over the summer.

As of May 1, 2010, her price is $2,500. Mystery's price will increase as her training advances and she
earns titles.

Cynder is a 50lb black/roan female German Shorthaired Pointer. If you're looking for a good looking, young, GSP female that is strong in the field, this is her. Cynder was born January 18, 2007. She has an excellent pedigree which includes DC AFC TrekkerV Grunbaum VCD3 UDX, MH, MX and NFC Heide's Mighty City Slicker, just to name a few.

Cynder is a close worker with a hard point, she honors, is whistle trained, whoa broke and retrieves to hand. Cynder has alot of wild bird experience and has worked on a number of outdoor television shows. She is two passes shy of her NASDR Novice Pointing Title.

Cynder is a proven breeder and has delivered black/roan and liver/roan puppies. Her pups have all "turned on" at very early ages and are exceptional pets.

Maverick was born 6/9/2007 and is a black male, pointing Lab. He is the grandson of NFC Five Star General Patton and daughter of pointing lab Waterborne Abby's Second Chance. Maverick has a rock solid point, is force-fetched, whoa broke, whistle broke, steady to name, retrieving doubles, working on blinds, and is only 14 months old!

Maverick will make someone a brag dog for life or could be the centerpiece of any breeding program.  Maverick scored 21 points at the American Pointing Lab Association test in June 08, and has already passed his third leg of both his Great Lakes Sport Dog Novice Pointing Lab and his GLSD Novice Waterfowl titles.

Gretchen is the granddaughter of  NAFC Rawhide's Clown. Clown was inducted into the Gundog Hall of Fame in 2005. Gretchen is 3 years old. She is white with liver patched and ticked. She weighs 40lbs and is dynamite in the field. Gretchen is whistle broke, responds to hand signals, steady to wing and shot, she delivers to hand and honors. Gretchen has an intense desire to locate game and has been a star wherever she has hunted. Gretchen has been guiding professionally her whole life at shooting preserves and has shined on wild birds from northern Michigan to Iowa. She is a proven breeder that is OFA certified GOOD.
